Saturday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m.
AGES: 1 to 8 years old
Join us for our second annual Egg-A-Palooza! The Easter Bunny will be visiting the Bensenville Library and hiding prize filled eggs in the Library’s Garden of Knowledge. Children between the ages of 1 and 8 years old are invited to bring their own basket and join us for an Easter egg hunt. We will have two entry times into the egg hunt:
2:00 to 2:15 p.m. – 1 to 3 year old Egg Hunt
2:30 to 2:45 p.m. – 4 to 8 year old Egg Hunt
While you wait for your group to enter the hunt, our family craft room will be open and we will have several amazing projects for you to complete. Don’t forget to bring your camera as the Easter Bunny will be available for kids to meet and have their photo taken with. Registration is not required to attend this program, but space is limited. Tickets for the event will be handed out 30 minutes before the start of the program. NOTE: If there is inclement weather the egg hunt will be moved indoors.
Monday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m.
AGES: 5 to 12 years old
Drop in to the Library’s pop-up art studio to see what you can make! We’ll have several art projects for you to complete as well as a variety of materials for you to select from and use to create your own masterpieces. Registration is not required to attend this program.
Friday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 4 to 10 years old (older siblings welcome)
You’re invited to play our life-size Candy Land game! The entire Library will be transformed into the game board with YOU as the game piece. Once you’ve found the lost king – and collected your treats – join us for a Candy Land themed craft! Families with children ages 4 to 10 years and older siblings welcome to attend. This program is a drop-in event and registration is not required.
During these cold and chilly months, warm your insides with some hot cocoa or coffee and join us as we read and discuss though provoking stories of passion, injustice, love, lust, murder, and more! This book club meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Library. Copies of the book to be discussed are available at the Library’s Circulation Desk one month prior to the discussion.
