Family BINGO


Head to the Library for a night of family gaming fun! Winners will have a choice of prizes. Family Bingo is a drop-in event and registration is not required to attend. Space is limited, and players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Family Bingo will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the following evenings:

Our favorite #Coloring is coming back! If you enjoyed all the fun coloring pages from the last #Coloring then come out for this one! Join us every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. We’ll supply the coloring pencils and pages, you bring your creativity! No registration is required to attend.

 

 

The Music Factory


Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
September 7 – February 22
AGES: 1 to 5 years old

Join Miss Allison every week from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a musical playground. Your child will interact with different musical instruments and even learn a new song or rhyme during this drop-in program. Registration is NOT required to attend this class.

Our Early Childhood programs will be on break and not meet November 20-24 and December 26-January 19.

Pokémon Club


Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. (ALTERNATING)
AGES: 8 to 17 years old

If you attended our Countdown to Pokémon Sun and Moon then you will want to join our new Pokémon Club! Get together with fellow Pokémon fans to battle, trade and discuss everything Pokémon. If you have a Pokémon you can’t seem to find or would like to battle new faces then join the Pokémon Club! Please note for playing purposes you must have either a Nintendo 2DS or 3DS to play. You will not be able to play if you don’t have one of these. You also need to have one of the newer Pokémon games (Pokémon X & Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, or Pokémon Sun and Moon). Pokémon Club will meet every other Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.:

Note: Pokemon Club will not meet on Wednesday, May 3.

Stories & More

Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.

AGES: 2 and 3 years old

Has your child graduated from Toddler Tales? Continue to develop your child’s language and social skills at Stories & More. Children and their favorite adult are invited to join Miss Kyrie for stories, songs, and activities. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Stop by the Youth Desk the day of the class to reserve your spot. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stay & Play

AGES: 1 to 5 years old

Children are invited to join us after storytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Stay & Play. Enjoy an hour of play during which you and your child may socialize with other parents and caregivers. Registration is NOT required to attend.

Art & Relaxation

Join Mary for an evening of Art & Relaxation. Find time for yourself to rejuvenate! Choose from a selection of calming coloring projects to complete while you listen to peaceful music. Art & Relaxation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the following Wednesday evenings:

Very Pinteresting – Yarn Wrapped Vases

Thursday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m.
AGE: Adults only

Join us for an evening of Mod Podge madness! We’ll upcycle plain glass vases into unique vases using yarn and Mod Podge at this month’s Very Pinteresting. Learn how to create cool designs to add that perfect touch of color to your home décor. We’ll provide one vase for the project, but you may bring an extra if you want to do another project! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tech DIY with Chris


Tech DIY with Chris: When Life Gives You Lemons, Make a Simple Battery
Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m.
AGE: Adults only

Did you know you can make a battery out of a piece of fruit? Join Chris for a hands-on tutorial that will turn lemons into batteries. You’ll be charged up on science when you feel the success of your homemade electricity! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Movie Trivia Extravaganza

Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Are you a film fanatic? Before you head out to an Oscar viewing party join us at the Library for our Movie Trivia Extravaganza! Put your movie “buffness” to the test and you’ll have the chance to win prizes! Participants must compete in teams of 2-4 people. Team registration will take place at the event beginning at 1:30 p.m., and the competition will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Late attendees will not be admitted to the event.
