Social Networking Workshops

Have questions about social networking or wonder if it’s right for you? The Library offers social networking workshops on Facebook and LinkedIn. Learn how to manage and create an outstanding web presence for work, or create a private network of friends and family to share videos, pictures, and much more. The workshops are free and take place in the Library’s computer lab.

Introduction to Facebook

Want to open a Facebook account? Having trouble navigating your new timeline profile? Do you want to open an account but have questions about your privacy? The Bensenville Library has a workshop that will show you what is new with Facebook and help you manage your privacy settings. Feel free to bring pictures or short videos to upload to your profile during the workshop. We can also help you deactivate an account. Workshop dates:

    • May 30 at 7:00 p.m.
    • June 27 at 7:00 p.m.
    • July 25 at 7:00 p.m.

Have questions about how to use LinkedIn or want to set up an account? Are you wondering about how to create or enhance your web presence? The Bensenville Library has a workshop to help you get started or improve your LinkedIn profile. Feel free to bring a copy of your resume and a professional picture of yourself to upload to your profile. We can also help you deactivate an account. Workshop dates:
