Fall Family Art Night


Tuesday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 4 to 12 years old

Let the colors of Fall inspire you! Channel your inner artist and see what you can create with the different types of paints, stamps, and more available in the Library’s art supply stash. We’ll have fall themed project ideas to get you started. All of our supplies are washable, but there is always a chance for a little mess when creating art. You may want to wear something that is okay to get slightly messy. This program is a drop-in event and registration is not required to attend.

 

Valentine’s Day Card Making Party

After School Book Buddies and Stay & Play

Come relax after school and join Miss Diane for some great stories and fun learning activities. Every week will be a different adventure! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first served basis.

 

After School Stay & Play – NEW!

AGES: 4 to 7 years old

Children are invited to join us after Book Buddies to stay and play. We will have some fun things for kids who are early elementary school age. Enjoy an hour of play! Registration is not required to attend.

 

Mardi Gras at the Library

AGES: 10 years old and under

Celebrate Mardi Gras with your friends at the Library! Learn about the history of Mardi Gras while we enjoy activities like crafting, mini float building, games, and more.

 

Noon Year’s Eve

AGES: 8 years old and under

Join us for a family friendly celebration counting down to the New Year without staying up late! Enjoy crafts, play, music and dancing, concluding with a balloon drop at 12:00 p.m. Registration is not required to attend.

 

Lights Out Family Night


Friday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 10 years old and under

Families are invited to join us for the Library’s first ever Lights Out Family Night. Create black light art, go on a flashlight scavenger hunt, have fun in our movement room and more!

 

Programs with Santa!


Visit with Santa
Friday, December 1 at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 10 years old and under

Bring your little ones for our annual visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. While waiting for their turn on Santa’s lap, kids will be able to make an ornament for their tree at home as well as other crafts. After your visit with Santa, you will be able to decorate one of Mrs. Claus’ homemade cookies. Remember to bring your camera as this is sure to be a memory you won’t want to forget! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Tickets to attend will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the program at the Youth Services Desk.

 

Cookies for Santa
Friday, December 22 at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 4 to 10 years old

Are you behind on your holiday baking? No problem! Join Miss Kelly for an evening of cookie decorating. You’ll leave with a dozen decorated cookies that you can put out for Santa (or enjoy yourself). Registration is not required to attend but space is limited. Attendees will be admitted in pairs (1 child to 1 adult) on a first come, first served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult decorating partner. Questions? Contact the Youth Services Dept.

 

Halloween BOO-Tacular


Friday, October 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
AGES: 10 years old and under

Families with children 10 years old and younger are invited to celebrate Halloween with the Library! Join us for an evening of stories, crafts, and games. Wear your Halloween costume so that you can take part in the Library’s indoor trick or treating! Registration is not required to attend this event, and this event will take place rain or shine!
