Kids 2 years old and up are invited to join us every Wednesday morning for Art Club. Each week we will provide a different project for you to complete as well as a variety of supplies for you to create your own masterpiece. We will use washable supplies, but there is always a chance for a little mess when creating art. You may want to wear something that is okay to get slightly messy. No registration is required to attend, but space is limited.

Summer Video Game Club

Join the Library for video game playing! Each month we will be using a different game system to truly test your skills! At the club, we will vote on which game we will be playing that day. Registration is not required, but no more attendees will be accepted after an hour into the program. The games played will be rated from E-T.
Content is generally suitable for all ages. May contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.

Channel your inner artist and see what you can create with the different types of paints, stamps, and more available in the Library’s art supply stash. We’ll present themed project ideas to get you started. All of our supplies are washable, but there is always a chance for a little mess when creating art. You may want to wear something that is okay to get slightly messy. Family Art Night meets the third Tuesday of the month. This program is a drop-in event and registration is not required to attend.

September 11 – February 26
AGES: 2 to 10 years old
Children can join us for an hour of painting, drawing, and creating! We provide the supplies and you bring the imagination. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing they won’t mind getting messy. Registration is not required to attend this class, but space is limited. Spots are available on a rotating basis. Stop by the Youth Desk the day of the class for more information.
Our Early Childhood programs will be on break and not meet November 20-24 and December 26-January 19.
Head to the Library for a night of family gaming fun! Winners will have a choice of prizes. Family Bingo is a drop-in event and registration is not required to attend. Space is limited, and players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Family Bingo will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the following evenings:

Join Miss Allison every week from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a musical playground. Your child will interact with different musical instruments and even learn a new song or rhyme during this drop-in program. Registration not required to attend.

Children are invited to join us after storytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Stay & Play. Enjoy an hour of play during which you and your child may socialize with other parents and caregivers. Registration is not required to attend.

Join the Library for Free Comic Book Day, a nationwide event held the first Saturday in May each year where participating comic book shops and libraries around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE. We will celebrate Free Comic Book Day with superhero mask making. Stop by the Youth Services Desk for your free comic (while supplies last).

Join us for the fun as we celebrate International Firefighters’ Day! Miss Kyrie and Miss Diane will welcome two very special firefighters who will read aloud and teach us important fire safety skills. Then we’ll head outside to see the fire vehicles from the Bensenville Fire Protection District. Registration is not required to attend.
