Breakfast with the Easter Bunny


Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. | Blackhawk Middle School Cafeteria
AGES: 12 years old and younger

Kids 12 and younger are encouraged to join the Bensenville Community Public Library and Bensenville School District 2 for our first annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny in the Blackhawk Middle School Cafeteria. This event includes a pancake, tater tots, sausage, and egg breakfast, a photo-op with the Easter Bunny, as well as other crafts and activities. Registration is not required, but space is limited. All children must be attended by an adult. All adults must be accompanied with a child. For questions or further details, please contact the Library at (630) 766-4642.

 

After School Book Buddies and Stay & Play


After School Book Buddies
Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. 
March 6—May 29
AGES: 4 to 7 years old 

Come relax after school and join Miss Diane for some great stories and fun learning activities. Every week will be a different adventure! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first served basis.

 

After School Stay & Play
Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. 
March 6—May 29
AGES: 4 to 7 years old 

Children are invited to join us after Book Buddies to stay and play. We will have some fun things for kids who are early elementary school age. Enjoy an hour of play! Registration is not required to attend.


Manga Book Club


AGES: 6th through 8th Grade

Are you a fan of manga and graphic novels? Join Parish for the Library’s new Manga Book Club. Manga Book Club meets at 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

June 4 Boruto Vol. 1 by Masashi Kishimoto

Budding Bookworms Book Club

Calling all you curious kids for some fun reading and learning! We will explore some books from our non-fiction collection and see how fun true stories can be too! Budding Bookworms Book Club meets at 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Join the Youth Department’s Parish every Thursday for fun and easy craft making projects. Each week the featured project will use simple items like buttons, strings, paper and more. No registration is required to attend, but space is limited.
