AGES: 4 to 7 years old

Come relax after school and join Miss Diane for some great stories and fun learning activities. Every week will be a different adventure! Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first served basis.

Children are invited to join us after Book Buddies to stay and play. We will have some fun things for kids who are early elementary school age. Enjoy an hour of play! Registration is not required to attend.

 

Manga Book Club

Budding Bookworms Book Club

Summer Crafts with PJT

Join the Youth Department’s Parish every Thursday for fun and easy craft making projects. Each week the featured project will use simple items like buttons, strings, paper and more. No registration is required to attend, but space is limited.

Super Smash Bros. Tournament


Thursday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m.
AGES: 10 to 18 years old

Come out and join us for the Library’s Super Smash Bros. Tournament! Each participate MUST BRING their own Nintendo 3DS or compatible controller along with a copy of the Super Smash Bros. game. Compete in a four person battle, with winners advancing to the next stage of the tournament until there are no other challengers left standing! A prize will be awarded to the tournament champion. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Pokemon Grand Slam Tournament


Wednesday, July 26 at 3:00 p.m.
AGES: 10 to 18 years old

Thought the Pokémon League was challenging? Test your skills at the Library’s Pokémon Grand Slam Tournament! In order to participate in the tournament you MUST BRING your own Nintendo 3DS or 2DS along with your copy of:

  • Pokémon X  & Y
  • Pokémon Omega Ruby
  • Pokémon Alpha Sapphire
  • Pokémon Sun & Moon

Battles will be one on one until the Library’s Champion is crowned. Rules will be given at the event. A prize will be awarded to the tournament champion. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. NOTE: Tournament rules will be available ahead of the event on the Pokémon Grand Slam Tournament flyer.

Video Game Club


Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. – NEW!
Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
August 24 – February 22
AGES: 10 to 16 years old

Join the Library every Tuesday and Thursday for video game playing. Each month we will be using a different game system to truly test your skills! At the club we will vote on which game we will be playing that day, and a snack will be provided for all players. Registration is not required to attend, but no more attendees will be accepted an hour after the program starts. The games played will be rated from E-T.

EVERYONE
Content is generally suitable for all ages. May contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.

EVERYONE 10+
Content is generally suitable for ages 10 and up. May contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.

TEEN
Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language.

 

 

MEGA Building


Wednesday, March 29 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
AGES: 5 to 12 years old

Explore the Library’s collection of building sets at our first ever MEGA Building event. We’re pulling out every building set we own, and we can’t wait to see what you make with them! Our unique building sets include: Magna-Tiles, Feltro, Tegu, Magz Bricks, Magz Clix, Snapo, Brackitz, and more! Join us for a morning of creative building and play. Registration is not required to attend this program.

 

Drop-In Art


Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
September 11 – February 26
AGES: 2 to 10 years old

Children can join us for an hour of painting, drawing, and creating! We provide the supplies and you bring the imagination. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing they won’t mind getting messy. Registration is not required to attend this class, but space is limited. Spots are available on a rotating basis. Stop by the Youth Desk the day of the class for more information.

Our Early Childhood programs will be on break and not meet November 20-24 and December 26-January 19.
