"The first Christian Science services were conducted by Edward Gallun and Mrs. Esther Wimsett in 1953 in the Milwaukee Railroad Women's Clubhouse." In March of 1954 services were moved to Chippewa School. "In 1966 a new church was completed on the southwest corner of Church Road and Third Avenue." The congregation closed the church in 2000. It is now the True Jesus Church.
