The congregation started in 1962 in the city of Chicago. Their pastor still is Harry Matviiv. They moved to Bensenville in 1982 and built their church at 644 South John Street.
The Ukranian services are held on Wednesday at 7:00 pm, Sunday at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. The Young People's Service is Friday at 8:00 pm. The English services are Sunday at 8:00 am and 8:30 pm. Bible Study is Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Classes in the Ukranian language are Saturday at 6:00 pm.
For the past five years, they have shared space with Cornerstone Christian Assembly. Andrew Mroz is the pastor.
