The Reading Club


Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
June 11 – July 30

AGES: Kindergarten to 2nd Grade

Join the library for our introduction to book clubs! Every week we will meet and read together in order to practice our read aloud skills and learn new vocabulary. A healthy snack will be provided. No need to check out books ahead of time or remember them every week – we will keep them on our shelves for your convenience. Space is limited to the first 10 children, and readers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Animal Antics Storytime


Mondays at 10:30 a.m.
June 10 – July 29
AGES: 4 to 8 years old

Join Ms. Penny and Ms. Diane as we explore and learn about everything animals! We will learn some new facts, create a simple craft, and even share some stories. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

After School Hangout


Please note: After School Hangout programs do not meet on no school days*

DIY Crafts
Monday through Friday Weekly at the YS desk
AGES: 12 to 18 years old
Join us for a special craft each week after school gets out! Grab one of our take-and-go DIY crafts at the Youth services desk. Crafts will change every week and instructions will be included with each craft. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. *After School Hangout follows the District 2 school calendar

Movie Mondays
Mondays at 3:00 p.m.
AGES: 12 to 18 years old
Mondays suck, join us after school every Monday to relax and watch your favorite Netflix shows or movies with your friends. Don’t forget to grab a snack from the snack cart! All titles shown will be rated G —PG-13. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. *After School Hangout follows the District 2 school calendar

The Gaming Club
Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:00 p.m.
AGES: 12 to 18 years old
Join us every Wednesday and Thursday for gaming after school gets out. We will be rotating through a variety of board games and video games to truly get the competition started. The games played will be rated from E-T. Registration is not required, but space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. *After School Hangout follows the District 2 school calendar

Teen Crafting


Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.
June 12 – July 31
Ages: 12 to 18 years old

Teens are invited to join Mr. Parish every week for fun and easy crafts. Each week will be a different project, using a variety of materials. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Crayons & Games


Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
March 6 – July 31 | ALL AGES

Bring your family and friends to an evening of challenging games and relaxing coloring at the Library! Board games, crayons, and pages will be provided – all you need is your creativity and laughter. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Lunchtime Theater


Summer Lunchtime Theater
Thursdays at 12:00 p.m.

Bring your sack lunch and join us for a weekly summer movie while taking advantage of stadium seating, free popcorn, and new HD projection in the Library’s auditorium! Film titles for this program are announced one month prior to showing. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Family Storytime: Diwali Celebration
Saturday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m. | AGES: 0 to 8 years old

Join us for a special Family Storytime as we celebrate Diwali! We will be celebrating the Festival of Lights with stories, crafts, and even a special treat. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.


Family Storytime: Chinese New Year Celebration
Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. | AGES: 0 to 8 years old

Join us for a special Family Storytime as we celebrate the Chinese New Year! We will be celebrating the Year of the Rat with stories, crafts, and even a special treat. Registration

Drop-In Play


Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

AGES: 0 to 8 year olds

Families are invited to join us for a morning of play! The YS Department will highlight their vast toy collection and help your little ones as they learn to socialize. After all, play is the work of childhood! Registration is not required, but all children must be attended by an adult.

Stories with Grammy


Mondays at 10:30 a.m.
AGES: 2 to 5 years old

Whether they call them Grandma, Nana, or Abuelita, kids love their grandmothers! Join us for gentle, calming tales and rhymes from our favorite librarian, Grammy Bonnie. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
