This September, the Bensenville Community Public Library is joining with the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month — to encourage community members to obtain a free library card that will not only save them money but reap the rewards of both academic achievement and lifelong learning.
Stop in the Library this September and either sign up for a library card or confirm your library card information and spin to win a prize! Every spin wins!
On top of that, any new or existing cardholder can pick up a “Library Card Scavenger Hunt” bookmark — complete all of the challenges and you’ll be entered to win a pair of tickets to one of the following Chicago attractions: the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum, or Chicago Sky Zone!
To be entered into the raffle, and to spin the prize wheel, patrons must sign up or renew their library card in person. Online library card registration will not qualify. Completed “Library Card Scavenger Hunt” bookmarks must be completed and returned to the Library to qualify for entry in the raffle. One entry per card.
