Manga Book Club


Third Mondays of the month at 3:00 p.m.
AGES: 7th through 8th grade

Are you a fan of manga and graphic novels? Join Parish for Manga Book Club, where we’ll watch the first episode of the Manga and discuss the differences between that and the book, and we’ll see if we prefer the Manga or Anime.

Budding Bookworms Book Club


Second Saturdays of the month at 10:30 a.m.
AGES: Kindergarten through 2nd grade

Calling all you curious kids for some fun reading and a craft! Join Miss Diane to explore some books from our non-fiction collection and see how fun true stories can be. We’ll also be enjoying a breakfast treat!

Summer Crafts with PJT


Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

AGES: 6 to 10 years old

Join the Youth Department’s Parish every Thursday for fun and easy craft making projects. Each week the featured project will use simple items like buttons, strings, paper and more. No registration is required to attend, but space is limited.

 

Nifty Nature Explorers


Mondays from 9:30–10:30 a.m.
June 11 – July 23
AGES: 4 to 8 years old

Get outside in the Library’s garden with Miss Penny and Miss Diane to enjoy and learn about flowers, bugs, and other cool things in nature! We will learn some new facts, do some hands-on projects, and even share some stories. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited. Stop by the Youth Desk the day of the program for more information.

Art Club


Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
June 12 – July 31
AGES: 2 to 12 years old

Join the Library every Wednesday morning for Art Club. Each week we will provide a different project for you to complete as well as a variety of supplies for you to create your own masterpiece. No registration is required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Video Game Club


Video Game Club
Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. | June 11 – July 30 | AGES: 12 to 18 years old

Join the Library for video game playing! Each week we will be using a different game system to truly test your skills! At the club, we will vote on which game we will be playing that day. Registration is not required, but no more attendees will be accepted after an hour into the program. The games played will be rated from E-T.


Video Game Club Tournament
Thursday, March 28 at 1:00-5:00 p.m.

AGES: 10 to 18 years old

Join the library for its first ever MEGA Video Game Tournament Day – complete with pizza! Our tournament will be split into two game brackets, titles to be released one week prior to event. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Battling players will not be allowed to participate in the tournament after the first 15 minutes, so please arrive early.

Family Art Night


Third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m.

AGES: 12 years old and younger

Join us the third Tuesday of every month to channel your inner artist. See what you can create with different types of paints, stamps, and more, available from the Library’s art supply stash. We will present themed project ideas to get you started. All of our supplies are washable, but there is a chance for a mess, so wear something that can get messy! Space is limited, and artists will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

 

 

Drop-In Art


Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
September 11 – February 26
AGES: 2 to 10 years old

Children can join us for an hour of painting, drawing, and creating! We provide the supplies and you bring the imagination. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing they won’t mind getting messy. Registration is not required to attend this class, but space is limited. Spots are available on a rotating basis. Stop by the Youth Desk the day of the class for more information.

Our Early Childhood programs will be on break and not meet November 20-24 and December 26-January 19.

Bingo for Kids


Fourth Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m.
AGES: 12 years old and younger

Children can head to the Library for a night of gaming fun, where players have a chance to win Bingo Bucks that they can redeem for prizes. Bingo cards will be provided to children only. Space is limited to the first 30 children, and players will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us every Wednesday night for some relaxing fun! We’ll supply the coloring pencils and pages, just bring your creativity! No registration required, and all ages are welcome to attend.
