The Reading Club

Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

AGES: Kindergarten to 2nd Grade

Join the library for our introduction to book clubs! Every week we will meet and read together in order to practice our read aloud skills and learn new vocabulary. A healthy snack will be provided. No need to check out books ahead of time or remember them every week – we will keep them on our shelves for your convenience. Space is limited to the first 10 children, and readers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.


Teen Crafting

Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.
June 12 – July 31
Ages: 12 to 18 years old

Teens are invited to join Mr. Parish every week for fun and easy crafts. Each week will be a different project, using a variety of materials. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.


Crayons & Games

Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. | ALL AGES

Bring your family and friends to an evening of challenging games and relaxing coloring at the Library! Board games, crayons, and pages will be provided – all you need is your creativity and laughter. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bring your sack lunch and join us for a weekly summer movie while taking advantage of stadium seating, free popcorn, and new HD projection in the Library’s auditorium! Film titles for this program are announced one month prior to showing. Registration is not required to attend, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Video Game Club

Video Game Club

Join the Library for video game playing! Each week we will be using a different game system to truly test your skills! At the club, we will vote on which game we will be playing that day. Registration is not required, but no more attendees will be accepted after an hour into the program. The games played will be rated from E-T.

Video Game Club Tournament
Thursday, July 25 at 1:00—5:00 p.m.
Ages: 10 to 18 years old

Join the library for its second MEGA Video Game Tournament Day – complete with pizza! Our tournament will be split into two game brackets, titles to be released one week prior to event. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Battling players will not be allowed to participate in the tournament after the first 15 minutes, so please arrive early.

Park Play

Sunset Park | ALL AGES

Children of all ages are invited to join us Fridays in July for Park Play, the Library’s outdoor playgroup. The Library will be at Sunset Park for an hour of outdoor play to socialize with other parents and caregivers while your child enjoys sunshine, fresh air, as well as active, manipulative, and sensory play. NOTE: Park Play will be relocated to the Library’s meeting room in inclement weather.


Summer Reading 2020

Dig Deeper: Read, Investigate, Discover! | June 15 — August 7

Readers of all ages are invited to read throughout the summer — earn raffle tickets to win one of our grand prizes, finish the program and win a summer reading t-shirt!

KIDS: All kids receive a prize bag just for registering that can be picked up via our curbside pickup! Get a raffle ticket for every 5 days you read for one of our grand prizes! Complete 25 days of reading (as little or as long!) or activities to receive your finishers’ prize — a book, a t-shirt, and another entry in our grand prize drawings!

ADULTS: Read and log 6 books to complete the program and earn your summer reading t-shirt! For every book you read, you will earn a raffle ticket for our grand prize drawing! (Max. 10 entries per person.) We’re raffling off three Kindle Fires!
