Universal Class

Universal Class is an online service devised for you to continue your education with the help of a regulated curriculum — with a wide variety of course offerings that you can choose from.  Whether you are looking to boost your computer skills or appreciate the fine arts more, Universal Class can help you.

All classes are free of charge with your Bensenville Community Public Library Card. (Need a BCPL card? Sign up here for a temporary digital library card.) Courses are self paced so that you can work at your own speed.  Each class has a dedicated instructor to guide you through the course material, and help you with any problems.  The class forums also provide you with a way to interact with others that are currently enrolled in the course.

How to Enroll

• Registering: Simply go to bensenvilleil.universalclass.com/register and enter the 14 digit code, with no spaces, found on the back of your Bensenville Community Public Library card.

• New User Login: After registering, you will be asked to enter some information for your user account. This will be things like name, a unique user name, email,and password.  If you do not have an email account, one of our librarians can help set one up with you. After creating a login, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address that you entered.  NOTE: It is very important that you remember the login and password that you create. We will not be able to retrieve them for you if you forget.

• Sign Up: Once you are registered, you have access to the entire class catalog.  You are free to sign up for as many classes as you would like.  For your return visits, use the website bensenvilleil.universalclass.com. Enter your user name and password to gain access to your classes or sign up for new ones.
