The Bensenville Community Public Library welcomes donations of books and other materials and accepts monetary contributions toward the purchase of materials.
The Library reserves the right to decide the use of all gifts/donations received. Gifts accepted for addition to the Library’s collection become the property of the Library and will be placed where most appropriate. Material not utilized in the Library’s collection will be put into our permanent or annual book sales or recycled as appropriate. The proceeds from the Library book sales are used by the Library in support of its mission, programs, and to enhance the Library’s collections.
Donations in good condition may be dropped off at the Circulation Desk. Please do not drop off donations in our book drop. Items must be in “gift-worthy” condition, free of stains, odor, excessive dust, water damage, or mold. Gifts cannot be returned once donated.
